WELCOME TO TITLE I

East Elementary is a Title I building.  This means that East receives federal funding to support the reading and math programs in our building.  With this addition funding, math and reading specialists provide additional support throughout the day to reinforce reading and math skills.  We work closely with all classroom teachers to ensure that all students achieve to their greatest potential.  During the year there are numerous opportunities for parent involvement--Literacy Evening, Math nights,PTO events, Math games sent home throughout the year and the Summer Academic Program--that will give parents a chance to assist their child to reach his/her personal best.
