Welcome to fifth grade! I am so excited to be part of the East community and the fifth grade team. My name is Miss Nicolette Vander Velde and I am moving into my fifth year in teaching. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Interdisiplinary Studies Liberal Arts with an emphasis in English as a Second Language from the University of Northern Colorado. I continued my education and received a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix. I am currently working on my Administrative Degree from the University of Phoenix. I am looking forward to a great year with your students. Thank you for being here!!!
